Who We Are
With a proven track record and over two decades of experience in the oil and gas industry, Hillside Energy was founded by Nick Drumsta. He holds a BA in Geology from the University of Buffalo and MS in Geology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
As a creative thinker and problem solver, Nick is passionate about preserving the fundamentals in today’s oil and gas market. He brings a fresh approach to each project.
Taking a “Keep it Simple” view to most challenges, Nick believes that the best answer is often right in front of you. Through the use of “old school” mapping and thought processes coupled with technology and current methods, he is uniquely qualified.
From exploration, to operations and business development, Nick has been a leader in all phases of the life cycle of projects. He has brought great levels of success to offices of varying sizes. He has played a founding role in several start-up companies.
Hillside Energy was born to meet the need for professional, yet individualized and personal oil and gas investment consulting within the industry.
Currently, Nick is a member of AAPG and Houston Geological Society.
